Learn more about CDC’s new recommendations concerning specimen storage and shipping best practices, including:

  • Changes to CDC’s specimen submission criteria for CLIA diagnostic testing
  • The impact of CDC’s newly implemented specimen temperature monitoring upon receipt of submissions
  • Specimen packaging aimed at maintaining proper conditions during transport

This session is appropriate for anyone who is involved in any step of the packing or transport process of patient samples or cultures, or who provides education and training to staff related to storing and shipping specimens.
